This is a standout opportunity for Purchase Ledger professionals to join a thriving manufacturing business based in Wakefield. You will be working as part of a dynamic finance team, within a fast paced market.

  • Being the main point of contact for any queries relating to purchase ledger
  • Identify any unallocated cash
  • Work to a strict monthend close timetable, prioritising key tasks to meet daily targets
  • Reconcile monthly supplier statements and ensure any discrepancies are resolved promptly
  • Review supplier ledger accounts each month, ensuring all payments are allocated, and any issues are escalated to the Transactional
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Responisble for petty cash
  • Provide regular finance support and information to managers
  • Experienced Purchase Ledger
  • Being able to fit the company culture, demonstrating great team work skills & communication.
  • Proficient using Microsoft and accounting softwares.
  • The ability to handle a high volume of personal workload as well as strategising to make improvements across the finance department.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
