Behaviour manager required in Preston.

Good afternoon,


I am currently working with a secondary school based in Preston to recruit a Behaviour Manager for a long term ongoing post.

The school is a "GOOD" school based in central Preston.

They will accept people from a non education based background and teachers who are looking to take a step back from the classroom and into a more pastoral role.


in detail your duties will be:

  • To work as part of the Pastoral Team and support the operation of Internal Exclusion
  • To work with the SLT link for behaviour to ensure Internal Exclusion is supervised at all times in a consistent manner that supports students.
  • To assist in the support of children who display challenging behaviour and to work both as part of a team and independently to support the aims of the Inclusion Team.
  • Run bespoke intervention sessions to small groups of Key Stage 3 students to support their engagement in school and demonstrate the Academy's values.
  • To manage the academy's reflection room on a daily basis.

  • Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills)
  • Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children
