Teaching assistant required ASAP in Doncaster

Tradewind are recruiting an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant in Doncaster to join a highlight established secondary school.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and providing a positive learningexperience for students.

This is a long term role to continue until at least Easter, potentially the end of the academic year.

The school is consistently rated as 'Good' in its Ofsted reports and has been praised for its natural support systems to students and staff.

There is a large on site car park for staff and excellent connections to public transport.

Your responsibilities as a teaching assistant will include:

Assisting the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering lessons.
Providing individual and small group support to students.
Supporting students' with SEND.
Helping with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
Participating in student assessments and provide feedback to the teacher.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Maintain a safe and organised learning environment.

As a teaching assistant you should have:

Relevant qualifications or experience as a Teaching Assistant (level 3 or above)
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students.
DBS on the update service.
