Responsibilities:
- Organising and managing deliveries and logistics on site. Getting materials and plant to the workfaces in good time to maintain progress as per the Programme.
- Managing on site storage areas keeping storage areas tidy, secure and well organised with all open ends on pipework covered / capped.
- Recording which operatives have completed each section of the installation works so any issues such as leaks, or defects can be rectified by the operatives who did the work.
- Production of Daily and Weekly Health and Safety Packs.
- Carrying out Safe Start & Daily activity briefings, attendance at meetings where necessary.
- Carrying out site inductions (Details as the A & B File) Including right to work and site induction standards required for site housekeeping
- Carrying out Plant and equipment inspections, issuing necessary checklists and sign off reports.
- Assistance in production of RAMS, updating RAMs where site circumstances change, keeping copies of uptodate RAMs at workstations and work faces.
- Briefing RAMs to operatives.
- Carrying out toolbox talks.
- Manage PPE register and operative signing for PPE, including boot surveillance check.
- Obtain operative training records and certification, submit to JAB management for training matrix production.
- Review onsite training needs i.e., MEWPS, face fitting etc.
- Understanding JAB scope of works and demarcations.
- Issuing latest revision construction Drawings to operatives from JAB administrator / Construction manager. (JABMS Master Drawing receipt register to be used as reference)
- Ensuring the latest revision drawings are being used on site ensuring installation is as per the latest drawing.
- Use of latest up to date tech subs, drawings and specifications based on information supplied from JAB administrator / Construction manager.
- Material take offs and material listing for procurement in good time to maintain installation progress on site. (Material Requisition Request sheet to be used at all times)
- Take off and Procurement/identification of materials to suit the price work strategy and area demarcations.
- Management of plant and tools on site ensuring tools and plant are kept safe and secure, and off hired as soon as possible.
- Production of plant and equipment schedules listing plant on site.
- Production of labour return sheets recording operative hours and works completed.
- Keeping detailed daily site diary and keeping activity records with progress photos and photos of delays and obstructions on site
- Producing benchmarks on site to specifications and drawings including Benchmark QA sheets including client inspection and sign off.
- Production of QA packs both JAB and also client specific QA packs, inspecting and snagging / de snagging installation works
- Ensuring materials are installed in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. To be used as
- Management and Production of test packs, and testing documentation both JAB and client specific testing documentation including ATP procedures.
- Marking up accurate red line as built drawings and information
- Keeping test gauge calibration certs up to date.
- Ensuring all open ends on pipework are covered at all times.
- Review of pipework terminations carried out by others, capped off and protected prior to our connections photographs taken of any defects / open ends / damage prior to connection
- Inspection and review of prefabrication modules supplied by others prior to connection by JAB photographs taken of any defects / open ends / damage prior to connection
- Reviewing draining and venting, raising any potential areas where drains and vents are required on site and installing after consulting JAB Construction manager.
- Ensuring the systems are testing Pneumatically as per the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- No water to be introduced to any system until permission given by Andy Dolan or Daren Bilson.
- Identifying any potential changes to pipework routes on site bringing these to the attention of JAB Construction manager prior to making any changes on site.
- Producing 2 week look ahead for deliveries, area availability, labour, plant, materials, make ready needs.
- Producing 2 week look ahead for testing.
- Completing trade to trade handover sheets for insulation.
- Carrying out safety inspections and reporting any unsafe conditions to safety team / JAB management.
- Producing progress mark up drawings, identifying any issues or blockers on site.
- Obtaining permits to work.
Salary:
£30,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
