AllGlass (UK) Ltd is the largest producer of glass beads for highway road marking safety and the engineering sectors in the UK based in Linwood, Scotland.

In existence since 2003, the factory currently employs 21 people.


The Role:

Carry out preventative maintenance.

• Ensure all equipment is safe and fit for purpose.
• Installation of new machines and equipment.
• Overhaul and repair of current equipment and provide breakdown cover on shift.
• Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard.
• Fault finding, testing and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings, fixtures, and parts.
• Where a detailed specification is not provided, determine the cause of the fault, and undertake the most costeffective solution to remedy the defect.
• Prepare and interpret schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids.
• Perform mechanical/electrical duties as required.
• Conduct PAT testing as required (Training Provided)
• Ensure good standards of communication throughout all shifts.
• Responsible to meet plant maintenance downtime/uptime targets.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Communicate with other team members.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete/update all databases and paperwork.
• All relevant training will be provided.
• Other duties as assigned.

Welding Experience preferred.
