Are you an enthusiastic dietitian looking to continue to consolidate your dietetic skills in a wide ranging medical surgical caseload, whilst also experiencing specialist areas of dietetics?


This post will suit either a dynamic band 5 Dietitian looking for a more varied caseload and opportunity to experience multiple specialist areas, or an enthusiastic newly qualified Dietitian.


The Medical Surgical team covers inpatients and outpatients in a wide variety of clinical areas including acute medicine, general and thoracic surgery, cardiology, respiratory, and infectious diseases.

Additionally we offer rotations in a variety of different specialist areas to ensure your continued professional and career development


Areas covered include:

  • Oncology
  • Renal
  • HIV
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Diabetes
  • Weight Management
  • Older People & Stroke
  • Gastroenterology
  • Paediatrics
  • Community Nutrition Support

You will be part of a large, forward thinking team of Dietitians and Dietetic Assistant Practitioners who are enthusiastic about providing high quality dietetic care and are currently working on a range of service improvement projects to maximise effectiveness.


Our team is well supported by a wealth of senior and specialist dietetic staff in our department as well all our new starters are enrolled on our preceptorship programme and have a designated mentor.
