Our delightful 11-year-old client is looking for a Support Worker who shares her love of outings, she has enjoyed a visit to the ice rink as well as local parks and events.

L enjoys dressing up, doing craft activities, and listening to people sing. L has Cerebral Palsy, is a full-time wheelchair user, and is visually impaired so an experienced carer is required. If you think you might be a good fit we'd love to hear from you.

The Role/Client:

L is looking for a Support worker with a sense of fun and playfulness who will provide handson support (whilst mostly working with another Carer), to join in playing games such as hide & seek and 'Shops' or helping with art activities. The Support Worker will take L out into the community to visit coffee shops or bonfire society events and other venues. They will also keep her company whilst she watches her favourite TV programmes such as Molly & Mack and Horrid Henry.
The role requires assistance with all activities of daily living including personal care, medication administration, and implementing her therapy programmes.

About You:

You will be a driver with a UK license able to drive our client's automatic car and enable her to access the community/activities.
The family has a friendly dog so you will be an animal lover with no allergies.
You will ideally have at least 1 year's care experience but most importantly you will be a caring, friendly, reliable, and proactive carer with a positive outlook on life, respectful of working with L in her family home environment.
Full training will be provided, and you will be supported by a Case Manager, Team Leader, and the wider team.

Pay:

- £15 per hour on weekdays.
- £17 per hour weekends.
- £19.25 per hour bank holidays.

Hours / Shifts available

Week One:

Saturday - either 06:30 to 12: hours) or 08:00 to 20:00 (12 hours)

and/or

Sunday - either 06:30 to 12: hours) or 08:00 to 20:00 (12 hours)

Week Two:

Saturday hours)
