Role and Responsibilities
As a CMM Quality Inspector, you will be a key resource within our Quality Team. Reporting to the Quality Manager.

Main Responsibilities include_:
Utilise metrology equipment such as our CMM, Formtracer, Surface Tester to aid the inspection process.
Assist with CMM program and fixture creation.
Accurate and appropriate measurement of product features to determine conformance/non

- conformance to drawing.

To carry out firstoff inspection for the Machine Shop, and where necessary, assist with inprocess inspection.
To produce clear, concise and presentable inspection reports.
Responsible for the safe storage and upkeep of Inspection department measuring instruments, and to assist with calibration when necessary.
Complete nonconformances and concessions when necessary and maintain relevant documentation.

essential requirements

Experience of working within an inspection department.
CMM Operating experience with one of the following software's: MCOSMOS, PCDMIS, Calypso, Aberlink or Quindos.
Experience with creating presentable inspection reports.
Ability to read complex Engineering Drawings.
Understanding of GD&T.
Experience of working with customers and suppliers.
