Are you an experienced Security Officer, with a valid SIA frontline licence for Security Guard or Door Supervisor activities and First Aid at Work certificate ?

Would you like to work for one the UK's leading Facilities Management business, based permanently on site at one of its premier contracts ?

  • Salary: £23,980 plus Overtime
  • Location: Coventry
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 12 hour shifts, rotating 4 on, 4 off, avge 42 hour per week over 13 week period

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing a trained and attentive security officer presence throughout working shift, including day, night, weekend and bank holiday work as requires
  • Perform all duties within the requirements in the Site Assignment Instructions
  • Ensure all visitors to site, including good vehicle drivers, temporary workers, visitors and contractors are recorded when going in/out
  • Monitor CCTV and visible areas of site for potential security risks or theft
  • Receipt and storage of small parcels, post etc and inform addressee of arrival
  • Record significant, notable or unusual site activity in the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB)
  • Ensure thorough handover to oncoming security shift worker/s before leaving post.
  • Random foot patrols of site as required, given manning level and other commitments
  • Support and participate in emergency preparedness activities as required, including but not limited to fire alarm testing, sprinkler system testing, fire drills, security audits
  • Other reasonable requests of management team or Security Supervisor

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

  • Valid SIA frontline licence for Security Guard or Door Supervisor activities
  • Valid First Aid at Work certificate
  • Experience of working in accordance with Assignment Instructions and completing security documentation/ forms
  • 5 Year checkable work history
  • Experience working in a gatehouse environment
  • Experience in lone working
