Delivery and Collections Role

Driving in and around London and Home Counties.

This role predominantly involves the delivery of empty and packed wooden crates.

There is a requirement to collect unpacked freight therefore experience in handling unpacked freight is desirable & experience in handling unpacked fine art/high end furniture/white glove services are highly desirable.

The company is a 40-year-old, second generation family run business.

We are based in HAYES, Greater London.

Starting salary £24 - £27.5K per annum basic with regular overtime available paid at 1.5x Basic

Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm


Requirements:

• You must have a valid Driving License with less than 6 penalty points and be over 21yrs old.
• Experience Driving Vans (up to 3.5T)
• You will be predominantly driving a Luton Van
• Experience collecting unpacked freight
• You should be physically fit as the role requires manual handling of heavy items / crates
• You must be comfortable being a part of a busy and fast paced team.
• Attention to detail to ensure the safe transport of unpacked freight
• Clean and tidy induvial who takes care of their vans
• Reliability
