Business Development Manager - Home Based - Strong Salary & Benefits
Are you a
Business Development Manager with a background working within electronic systems or batteries? If so, a Midlands based organisation who are a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of rugged portable and industrial embeddedcomputing, custom lithium battery packs and secure communication systems and antennas are looking for you

The Business Development Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing the business unit strategic sales objectives
  • Providing a consultative technical solution to meet the customers' needs
  • Seek out new OEM accounts through prospecting and customer meetings
  • Identify and create new opportunities in the robotics & autonomous, medical and Drone market sectors
  • Promote the company's range of products and participate in trade shows to generate new leads where required
  • Strategically position the businesses value proposition to key accounts
  • Serve as a strategic business resource to the OEMs to solve their problems
  • Develop customer relationships and manage accounts in targeted vertical markets

Skills and Experience required for the Business Development Manager:

  • Qualified or experienced working within the battery or electronics sector
  • Proficient in the use of MS Project
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills with a strong ability to persuade and influence client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience of project delivery within a technical environment
  • Experience in managing deliverables via 3rd party vendors
  • Demonstrable experience in the delivery of projects within a complex technical environment or a highrisk resource requirement over an extended period of time
