My client is a disruptive financial technology (FinTech) company.

Their clients are made up of Leading investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, commodity houses, and brokerage firms (collectively representing over 20 trillion dollars of AUM).

My clients AI-assisted Software Products offer market-leading trade data analysis in the following areas:
Market Abuse;
Operational Risk;
Best Execution;
Anti Money Laundering

and Comms Surveillance.

They are headquartered in London, with further offices in New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Hong Kong, although they are expanding rapidly


The Role


They are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to develop the FP&A function, put in place new systems and processes and to provide insight and analysis to the wider business.

The role will be based in London and report into the Head of Finance.

This is a great opportunity to really add value to a fast growing, international business.


Responsibilities:


  • Production and ongoing development of reporting packs to Leadership team and the wider business.
  • Management of the budget process and ongoing tracking and management of the budget with key stakeholders.
  • Implementation and ownership of an FP&A tool.
  • Cash flow analysis and scenario planning on a rolling basis.
  • Development of KPIs across the finance function providing insight and analysis to Leadership team.
  • Business Partnering / Decision support ad hoc analysis and scenario planning with key stakeholders.
  • Board reporting production of Board reporting packs on a quarterly basis. Essential Skills/Competencies
  • Proven experience within FP&A within a FinTech or Technology SME/Startup, or a larger organisation.
  • Accounting qualification, (e.g. ACA, ACCAor CIMA years post qualification experience.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • NetSuite experience very beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and system skills.
