About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our business Cliverton Insurance in Fakenham.

The purpose of this role is to develop and expand the Cliverton business by providing a first class service. This role has responsibility for the effective and compliant management of new and existing clients' insurances. The role has authority to deal with insurers and clients as required to transact business.


Key responsibilities
***:

  • Identify and initiate crossreferral opportunities and activities to new and existing clients.
  • Develop insurer relationships.
  • Prepare new business & renewal documentation.
  • Prepare all relevant documentation and information required to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (underwriters, insurers, other insurance teams,
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of the Cliverton products and an understanding of the Lycetts products.
  • Develop expertise through formal inhouse training, CII training and qualifications and CPD.
  • Maintain record keeping requirements through use of OpenGI and other systems as required.
  • Prepare new business documentation.
  • Arrange direct debit/premium credit set up as required.
  • Correspond with clients and prospects as appropriate and directed.
  • Maintain electronic files.
  • Work within Compliance Framework required by the Company/Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Comply with all applicable sections of the Lycetts compliance manual.
  • Complaints identify complaints, act upon them and manage in line with company policy.
  • Deal with documentation, invoices, etc. ensuring smooth and troublefree client engagement and policy fulfilment
  • Actively liaise with internal colleagues on generating and passing over new business leads.

Knowledge, skills and experience:


Essential Attributes

  • Previous insurance / customer service experience (preferential)
  • Positive working attitude
  • Good confident customer skills both written & oral
  • Ability to build good relationships with both clients and insurers/underwriters
  • Good organizational ability
  • Wellpresented, hardworking, proactive team player with initiative

Advantageous Attributes

  • Previous/current position within an insurance company or brokerage preferred
  • Experience with Open GI broking software


  • Insurance qualifications

  • Cert CII minimum will be contractual. Full training and support will be provided.
