A fantastic opportunity has arisen for two talented Team Leaders to join the Customer Services team at Hammonds, the fitted furniture company.

This is a full-time permanent position, offering a salary of £26,500 -£28,880 per annum (depending on experience), based in Hinckley, Leicestershire (LE10).

As our Customer Services Team Leader you will help us to achieve our business objectives with a strong focus on maximising the Account Advisor's full potential.

You will do this by empowering, motivating and coaching the existing team through development, performance management of KPI's and guidance.

You will utilise your specialist knowledge and people skills to create a cohesive team environment, leading the team to success against our Customer Service targets and KPI's.


You will use your data analysis capabilities to ensure team and individual performance is regularly monitored and reviewed using the performance development and 121 process, keeping in mind our customer service styles and best practises.

Your role will include motivating new hires and developing team member abilities to improve their confidence, communication and customer service skills.

You will also allocate the day-to-day activities of the team, acting as key point of contact for escalated complex customer support and we expect a small element of your role to include administration.


AM I SUITABLE?


This role would be suitable for you a current Customer Service Team Leader with desire to make a
real impact, drive success and thrive in a fast-moving business environment.

You will need excellent IT skills (to include Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint), strong communication and decision-making skills.

This is a fast-paced hands-on role so you will need the ability to think on your feet, multi-task and flexibility to adapt to business needs.

You will be an enthusiastic, people-centric and positive individual with a natural desire to encourage and inspire the best performance from your team.


You will also need:

  • Team management experience with the ability to lead by example
  • The ability to organise your own and team workload
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Problemsolving capabilities
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, with the ability to communicate to both internal and external stakeholders.
