Touchline Fabrications limited are a market leading Steelwork contractor with an excellent reputation. Established in 1984, we Design, Manufacture and Install Structural and Secondary Steelwork across the UK.

We are looking to develop our existing management team with an ambitious, driven individual for estimating and detailing.

With the company being employee owned, the right individual would be able to benefit from their own success, with opportunities of rapid progression to senior management and running this department.

We are looking for applicants that have:

• A minimum of 3 years within the structural steel industry, preferably as an estimator or detailer. Would consider a person from a shop floor background who wanted to further their career in Estimating.
• A good level of structural steel construction knowledge and be able to read and take off material quantities from engineering/architects' drawings and specifications and complete tenders for presenting to client, then follow through to contract award.
• Must be customer focused and commercially aware with a professional approach and good communication/negotiation skills.
• Have excellent time management and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work on own initiative and to deadlines.
• Excellent computer and IT skills/Microsoft Excel with a knowledge of AutoCAD and Tekla drawing software
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Have a great personality
• This is on officebased position in Preston, and applicants must be local and able to commute daily. We will not consider any relocations.
