A well established and highly regarded manufacturing company have an exciting opportunity to head up and manage the Finance Team.

The role reports to the Finance Director and is a varied role in a supportive and positive environment


Key Duties
-
Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership and support to the FD and the executive team.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management reports, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate strategies to mitigate them.

Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.

Cost Control: Oversee cost management initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.

Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Team Management: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development of financial strategies and business plans.

Vendor and Customer Relationships: Manage financial relationships with key suppliers and customers.

Audit and Taxation: Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.


Qualifications:


  • Financial or Management Accounting qualification would be a plus
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset and strategic thinking.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.

Salary:
£35,000.00-£45,500.00 per year
