£18.80 PAYE / £24.67 Umbrella

Position Summary
This position will include the stripping down and replacing of Electrical items on Rolling Stock units.

You will be expected to complete Electrical and Mechanical re-fits from written work instruction so you must be competent in this area.

You'll be expectedto test and inspect all replaced components. This is a Safety Critical position and is a requirement against the Service Agreement (SA).

This could also include the following:

  • Reinstall wiring
  • Test Continuity
  • Remove and replace lighting including emergency lighting
  • Carry out basic Heating & Ventilation modifications
  • Repairing or installing Wi-Fi systems
  • Modification of PIS and TWS
  • Support mechanical component changes
  • Work of schematics

Person Profile/Experience:
Previous Rail experience is preferred but not essential
