We are currently looking for a
Multi Skilled Operative to join our friendly team based at Dove Holes in Buxton.

Role Responsibility:

In the role of Multi Skilled Operative you will be responsible

  • Continually help to improve the safety, quality and productivity standards on site, taking a proactive, solutionsbased approach to problem solving, engineering and ongoing machine performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation
  • Produce quality packed aggregates to a production gold standard, in accordance with customer specifications across multiple product variations.
  • Be fully accountable for machine production outputs aligned to the sites S&OP production targets on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for carrying out machine specific OLM interventions inline with the agreed schedules; including the recording and reporting of information. Ensure all documentation relating to safety, performance etc is adhered to.
  • Supporting the mobile fitting teams in fault diagnosis, repairs and planned maintenance activities.
  • Ensure housekeeping and visual standards are maintained across all production areas in line with health and safety, CI objectives and 5S requirements being proud of your equipment and working environment.
  • Help deliver skills, knowledge and behaviours to peers, acting as a lead trainer and mentor for future succession planning.
  • IOSH advantageous.
  • Experience in a fastpaced production industry.
  • Proven Operational/Engineering Experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
