We are a well established Award Winning Commercial Laundry Company based in Port Talbot.

As a result of our continued expansion we are seeking talented individuals to join us as a Production Supervisor at our production facility in Port Talbot.

You will assist the Production Manager in the day-to-day operations of the laundry and providing a safe and productive working environment for the team.

You will work closely with production operators to ensure that processing quality, quantity and service meets the standards we have set ourselves.

Preferably You will be an experienced team leader who has already built up relevant knowledge within a production environment or similar giving you the opportunity to share your experience and help the team evolve.

However this is not essential as full training will be given

What you will be doing:

Leading the team
Ensuring workflow is maintained
Monitoring and achieving performance targets
Stepping into production departments when required

Key responsibilities

Assist Production Manager with daytoday operational issues, to ensure the smooth running of the Laundry. Including training operators on processes in a safe manner (in line with company policies).
Monitor the Production output to reach / exceed daily targets.
Ensure that operations are maintained by completing the required production units in a timely manner and to a satisfactory quality whilst focusing and recording on the relevant KPI's of the business.
Monitor linen and other regular stock checks and supply accurate information.
Responsible for general cleanliness and other housekeeping duties including the outside yard area.
Be responsible for start up in the morning and shut down in the evening shift depending.
