Description
We are currently looking for a Gas Engineer to join our busy team in Walthamstow
As our Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining property services by delivering planned and reactive maintenance to an agreed programme, budget and quality within the company's operational targets.

Competitive
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 17:00 pm, and flexibility with working hours is essential as overtime will be required from time to time.

Full Time, Permanent
Gas Engineer Duties:
- To carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts, and carry out
- Complete fumes investigations
- Heat loss calculations
- Replacement boiler or system upgrade surveys including
- Testing and commissioning of equipment
- Undertake gas servicing
- Testing of smoke and CO alarms
- To complete job sheets/PDA for every task, daily log sheets and
- To comply with safe working practices ensuring the safety of the
- Liaise with all stakeholders as required to ensure a high quality service
- Responsible for the delivery of planned commitments to the client,
- Provide technical support and advice
- To supervise and train staff
- To maintain a high standard of customer service for all internal
- To attend tool box talks
- To comply with the company's Health & Safety Policy at all times
- Undertake other duties of a similar nature as required by management Responsible for care and maintenance of vehicle; washes vehicle and
- To report any vehicle malfunctions to management as soon as possible.
Gas Engineer Requirements:
Qualifications
- _CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT_
- _Energy Efficiency_
- _Unvented Hot Water_
- _HIU_
- _Heat Pumps_
- _Gas fires_
- _Cylinders_
- _HRU_
- _ACS / Gas Safe qualified and the ability to demonstrate relevant experience_
Experience
- Minimum of 25 years gas servicing experience
- Experience as a suitably qualified heating/gas service engineer working in communal and/or domestic premises
- Use and ability to train in the use of PDA devices
- Skills/Knowledge
- The ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate excellent technical skills on all aspects of gas systems including system wiring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- To be able to work as part of a team
- It is a requirement that a valid full clean driving licence is maintained
