North Tyneside CTT are looking to employ two suitably qualified Community Mental Health Practitioners across all our sites which include Longbenton, Whitley Bay and North Shields.

We have full time posts (37.5 hours) available (however happy to discuss part time hours) that are suitable for registered Nurses, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists who must be registered with the NMC, HCPC or Social Work England.

Here within the North Tyneside Community Treatment Team there is a real sense of team spirit, and we are looking to add clinicians with this same positive outlook to our already excellent skill set.

As part of this team, you will be encouraged to grow and develop in your role, and to contribute to the development of the service.

To be responsible for the Assessment and Management of casework of service users who have substantial and complex needs.

To deliver evidenced based Clinical and Psychologically based Interventions.

Coordinate Treatment Planning & Interventions, Reviews and Discharge Planning.


We are able to support staff to take up accredited training in evidence based therapies You will be able to develop your skills by working with service users who have a range of complex mental health needs with associated risk, and you will need to demonstrate experience of being able to plan and deliver in collaboration with service users, families and their carers.
