Financial Sales Underwriter - Salary Up to £45k
  • OTE £55k£60k

If you have advisory experience in the mortgage, insurance or loans industry we would love to hear from you.
We have several roles available with a very successful consumer loans company based in Brighton.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, dealing with the customer from initial qualified enquiry through to underwriting and closing stages.


You will need to be able to commute to the Basildon office during your initial onboarding period, however this will be much more flexible thereafter.

Job role of the Financial Sales Underwriter:

  • Engage with customer from initial qualified enquiry, face to face or over the telephone
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in order to generate repeat business
  • Communicate full product information to ensure that the customer full understands the product
  • Gather information required for credit checks to ensure creditworthiness and affordability
  • Follow regulatory and mandatory requirements at all times
  • Strive to achieve all set KPI's
  • Other duties

Who/what are we looking for?

  • Experience/qualifications in an advised role, ie insurance, mortgages or loans highly preferential
  • If you have a relevant finance related degree, ie accounting, economics this would also be considered if you are working in an advisory capacity
  • Great team player

Job Types:

Salary:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year


Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay

  • Basildon, SS14 1BX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
