Background

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing - Canterbury or Medway Campus Full-time and part time considered.

  • The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work brings together Adult, Child, Mental Health and Learning Disability Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work into one vibrant and dynamic community. The Role

  • The School is seeking to appoint Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing to teach various aspects of adult nursing and contribute to other areas of work within the School and wider Faculty depending on expertise.

The Person

  • You will be committed to high quality, evidencebased learning and teaching and be able to facilitate learning of a broad range of adult nursing principles, take on the role of personal tutor and academic assessor. You will be expected to contribute to modules in the BSc Adult Nursing and you may also teach on postgraduate modules related to your own expertise. You will also provide support to students during periods of practice placements. An underpinning principle of our work is the importance of the student experience and we would expect you to share this value and work in ways that will enhance it.
  • The post holder is required to be current on the NMC register as an adult nurse and will be expected to have a minimum of a first degree in a relevant discipline.
