Production Buyer

About you


As our business at Lunaz Applied Technologies continues to grow, we are looking to grow our purchasing team with the addition of a Production Buyer.

You will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager procuring materials, components and equipment required for the manufacturing and production process for the company.

The primary focus will be to ensure a timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods that support the production schedule.

Your experience and understanding of the challenges within purchasing from a busy manufacturing environment will be advantageous.

You will be able to demonstrate your skills and experience in cost control, production schedule coordination, how you build strong working relationships across the organisation and you will be great at keeping up to date on market trends, supplier capabilities as well as new technologies to help you make informed procurement decisions.

Your skills and experience in supplier negotiation and development of reliable supplier relationships will be key. You will also be great at inventory management, working to prevent shortages or overstock situations. We are looking for an individual who enjoys being busy and challenged and has a meticulous eye for detail. Although not essential, if you have any experience from automotive environment this would be beneficial.

This is a full time position based onsite in Silverstone.
