Finance Compliance Officer
We're recruiting for a Finance Compliance Officer to work alongside the Finance Team and reporting to the Finance Manager, to ensure compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements, as they relate to the Services and Supported Individuals.

Purpose of the Finance Compliance Officer
Other responsibilities include:
- To ensure that all contractual requirements agreed with LAs/ICBs/NHS are met
- To undertake audits of Financial records within Services
- To support Service to achieve full finance compliance
- To support the Finance team to roll out new Finance/Control systems as directed by the CFO
- These duties are not exhaustive, and a full Role Profile is available on request._
The Finance Compliance Officer will:
- Have an understanding of Financial Audit Processes & ability to develop processes and audit tools
- Have knowledge of LA contract requirements and the processes to reduce the risk of financial abuse of vulnerable people
- Have excellent communication skills verbal and written with good report writing, Word and Excel skills
- Be willing and able to travel and visit services 4 days per week
- Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Have a willingness to spend time in services, have an understanding of acceptable/good practice and ability to follow guidelines and policies.
- Be able to deliver under pressure at pace.
We're looking for the following experience:
- Experience of Financial Compliance Administration and Financial Auditing skills
- Experience of undertaking financial audits.
- Experience within health and social care sector (or related) sector.
