If so, we have an opportunity for a
Junior Buyer to join our
Dare2B Buying team
The
Impact you will have in this role is:

  • Partake in range direction meetings with the buying team to prepare fabric and samples for handover to Asia colleagues for development, ensuring that sourcing timetable is completed to agreed deadlines.
  • Work closely with Buying Director & Fabric team in Xiamen office on seasonal fabric developments for latest ranges. With the buying coordinator ensure range plans show correct fabric information.
  • Under guidance of the Head of Buying brief Product Manager on range highlights, technical innovations, new products to generate strong trade & consumer marketing stories.
  • To be responsible for checking all bullet point info for trade brochures & swingtickets, crossreferencing fabric & garment performance.
  • The Junior Buyer will be responsible for price negotiations for their ranges to hit margin target specified by P&L. Support given by Head of Buying.
  • Post buying trip the Junior Buyer must ensure that the PC team are fully briefed on style / factory allocation & agreed factory capacities in order that the seasonal set up of the new Merchandising system can been carried out correctly by the pc team.
  • Regular factory loading reviews should be carried out with Asia production controllers, any areas of concern should be resolved.
  • Carry out regular supplier analysis with the Head of Buying and gaining an in depth knowledge of suppliers performance & the impact on departmental KPI's.

  • Experience of liaising with Product Development & Design team.

  • Understand garment construction and capabilities of factories to enable them to create best product at best price.
