As a Technical Advisor within our brand new Renewable Energy team, you'll be the source of truth for Baxi's renewable energy product range.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is already a Technical Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Sales or Specification Manager who loves the technical aspect of mechanical or electrical engineering / system design. Who will you be working with?

Our Renewables team is the driving force that will help us to ensure we are building a collective of people who can support one of the biggest transformations we may see in the energy industry in our lifetime through educating, informing and supporting our existing and desired installer base in the UK.

They work very closely with our Area Sales, Technical Pre-Sales teams as well as our external customers (installers and merchants) to ensure everyone is clear not only on what needs to be done to help drive the energy transformation, but how they can do it. We know that transformation isn't easy and it can take time. That's why we're building a brand new team to support all our valued customers.

What will you be doing?

As a Pre Sales Technical Advisor within our shiney new Renewable Energy team, you'll be the source of truth for Baxi's renewable energy product range. You'll be the first and last point of call for any technical, legislative or regulatory queries that come either directly from our installer base, and/ or our field sales teams across both our residential and commercial customers. You'll provide support from design, through to install and project completion.

On a daily basis you'll be responsible for:

Working very closely with the Renewables Business Development Management team, Installers and Specification sales teams to ensure our heating and hot water solution offerings meet customer, industry and legislative requirements

Ensuring accurate advice and information is available in a timely manner, in line with customer project timelines

Generating and providing detailed product lists and schematics to support effective and compliant installation as well as first level installer support during the construction phase to enable the successful completion of projects

Reporting and monitoring project performance; using date led insights to provide commentary and influence commercial business decisions

About you:


Have a proven technical understanding of heating and plumbing, mechanical or electrical system design experience within the HVAC industry OR have a solid relevant education background with a demonstrable desire to work in the renewable energy or sustainable energy space.

Experience of Computer Aided Design systems, ideally AutoCAD,

An appreciation for renewable technologies with a knowledge of Air Source Heat Pump heating systems and the requirements for transitioning from fossil fuel solutions.

An understanding of UK legislative requirements for new build properties, including Building Regulations and F-Gas
