Main Duties and Responsibilities

The driver for the MJB team would suit someone who possesses a strong customer focus and a desire to provide a professional delivery service.

A requirement of the role is that you would:

Complete daily walk round checks prior to departure to ensure that your vehicle is legally compliant
Drive in a safe and efficient manner and at all times ensure that you adhere to road conditions, speed limits and road signage
Deliver to multiple catering establishments across South West England
Liaise with the transport team in relation to customer, vehicle or traffic issues
Ensure that your vehicle is washed and fueled upon your return to the depot
Accurately complete any delivery documentation
Arranging stock uplifts with supplier where necessary

Essential Requirements

Hold a valid driving licence (Category B)
Have fewer than 6 penalty points on your licence
Possess excellent customer service skills

Desirable Requirements

Good Geographical knowledge of the South West
Experience of temperature controlled multi drop deliveries

Hours

48 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent (Full time)

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, start time between 04:00 and 06:00 dependent on allocated route.
