Learning Support Assistant - Isleworth

Are you looking to start your career in education as a Learning Support Assistant? Love supporting children? Do you live in the Isleworth area?
If so, we are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work within a fantastic school, local to Hounslow. This is a full time, Monday to Friday position 8:30am to 4pm.


You do not need to have previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, provided that you have a passion for working with children and have experience supporting children in some capcity.

The role will consist of class support, working with small groupsand on occasion working in a 1:1 capacity.

The Role:


  • As a Learning Support Assistant you will need to support students in small groups and in a 1:1 capacity
  • Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Work across different classes and have a positive attitude towards supporting children with their needs
  • Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class as a Learning Support Assistant
  • Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised

Requirements:


  • Passion for working with children and/or young adults
  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant is preferential
  • Have a positive attitude and be flexible towards working in different classes throughout the school day
  • Willingness to learn what it takes to support SEN children
  • Live local to Isleworth or within a commutable distance
