Teaching Assistant - Behaviour Support (Full Time)

£80 - £90 per day (daily rate is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role


This large, 'Outstanding' primary school, based in Hackney are looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work in a small, Primary and secondary class on a full time time basis.

Working in this
SEN school

as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will be working on a small group basis with SEN students.

This full time time Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.


You will be expected to work support the class teachers and students with special needs, Dependent on the school this can vary, however previous experience supporting students with autism, moderate/severe learning difficulties would be useful.


Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience supporting children with special needs in a professional capacity.
  • Must be able to obtain references from 2 current/previous employers.
  • Must have or be willing to pay for a DBS on the update service.
  • A passion for the progress of primary/secondary school pupils.
