Robertson Bell are pleased to once again be partnering with an industry leading Property Developer based in Manchester who are seeking a Financial Accountant join their team on a permanent basis.

Working in the development finance team this role will playa crucial role in the financial accounting of their ambitious property development function.


The main responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include:

  • Organise the production of statutory accounts for the organisation's development subsidiaries.
  • Lead on the production of statutory accounts for the company's development subsidiaries, and work closely with external auditors to provide accurate information on any queries.
  • Supervise two direct reports who will support the financial accounting processes for development across the organisation.
  • Preparing timely management reporting information, reflecting on performance, and encouraging future growth and viability.
  • Support the wider development team in production of longterm financial plans.

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent)
  • Exceptionally strong financial accounting skills, ideally with experience in group accounting.
  • Eager to learn and develop, and able to challenge the status quo to improve processes.
  • Intermediate excel skills (at least pivot tables and Vlookups)
