About the role


Empower Development is fast becoming the go-to brand for insurance technical and soft skills training and this role has come about through growth.


This role will be focused on the development and delivery of technical insurance and CII-specific training, including virtual and in-person training, as well as producing and updating online content.

We are known for the quality of our products and services, and this role will contribute to the continuous improvement of our offering.


Responsibilities will include (not limited to):

  • Deliver existing insurance technical training and CII courses (in person and online)
  • Review and update existing insurance technical and CII csourses to ensure content remains fresh and inspiring
  • Research, design and deliver new or bespoke insurance technical and CII training programmes as required (in person and online) including slides, workbooks, course outlines and training support materials
  • Write and record insurance technical training videos for Empower Development's 'game changing' CII revision platform
  • Help maintain the online Facebook CII community including responding to queries, moderating posts and hosting Q&As
  • Contribute to business development activities including pipeline management and creating business proposals
  • Support with the delivery of other client projects where required
  • Additional projects and adhoc responsibilities.

In addition, everyone at Empower Development is encouraged to:

  • Support the promotion of Empower Development through social media including LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
  • Support Empower Development's probono activities including support for prospective insurance graduates and apprentices from diverse backgrounds
  • Represent Empower Development at industry events (these may be outside core working hours)
  • Contribute towards company strategy and continuous improvement of products, services and internal processes

Requirements:


Essential

  • CII qualified to at least Certificate level or equivalent industry knowledge
  • An enthusiasm for learning and for developing others
  • Familiar with CII exam and study processes and procedures Exceptional organisation skills
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience of successfully managing a busy workload with competing priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a small and agile team
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word programmes

Desirable

  • Experience of designing and delivering engaging technical insurance training
  • Proficiency in using MS Teams and Zoom to present

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
