An opportunity has arisen as a Nights Guest Service Associate position at Mansley Serviced Apartments - A family run business for over 50 years with a portfolio of Luxury Serviced Apartments across the U.K.

We are seeking an individual who enjoys working on their own, is able to take initiative, is customer service focused, enjoys dealing with guests as their number one priority and who is not afraid to take ownership of the role.


A full Drivers Licence is required to travel across our Edinburgh properties. Working 4 nights on and 4 nights off, an average of 42 hours per week.

You must speak fluent English, although other languages are advantageous.

Previous hospitality reception experience is essential.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Check accommodation has already been paid for, for advance payments, check rates/revenue
  • Handle complaints
  • Issue apartment keys and show guests to their apartments
  • Issue invoices for charges, with exception of ledgers, follow procedures
  • Maintenance tasks to be logged in RMS and Maintenance advised
  • Adhere to Staff Handbook guidelines at all times
  • Set up rooms for arrivals when required
  • Other duties may be required as the business dictates

Person Specification:


  • You will have worked in a hospitality reception environment and be able to demonstrate initiative.
  • You will be someone who has a reputation for delivering great service and being fun to work with.
  • You will be committed to working weekends.
  • You must be familiar with Microsoft office packages and have experience with a hotel PMS.
  • You must have excellent customer service skills, you must 'enjoy what you do'
  • You must have a good command of the English language and communication skills.
