Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the provider of integrated Sexual Health for Liverpool, Knowsley, East Cheshire and Warrington & Halton, known as 'axess'.
We are looking to employ x2 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, at an exciting time, as we embark on large-scale change to offer an innovative and dynamic sexual health service, across Liverpool.

The successful applicants will be required to deliver a high standard of leadership and educational support to staff, with provision of excellent clinical care for patients attending the service.
Leadership experience is essential for this role, as the education portfolio for all nursing, assistant practitioner and HCA's will be picked up by the ACP's.
Other duties will include the oversight of clinical work on the clinic floor, and assistance/advice provided for the Clinical Managers, Clinic Co-Ordinator's and the Lead Nurse.
Additionally, this role will be expected to develop and deliver training for new clinical initiatives such as the PrEP programme and clinical assessments for the service electronic patient record system.

To provide social, emotional and psychological support for patients from
referral and throughout their treatment.
To deliver expert specialist evidence based care including: development,
assessment, planning, implementing, evaluating programmes of evidence
based care for a defined caseload.
To make appropriate referral to consultants/other specialist/members of the multidisciplinary team.
To be aware of risk management issues both locally and nationally and
develop strategies to address identified issues.
