About us
We are one of the biggest salt Importers and Distributors in the UK.

We supply salt for multiple uses including water softener, food grade, cosmetic grade, animal feed, de-icing and a range of winter equipment.

We pride ourselves on being the go to company for salt, providing high quality products and outstanding customer service.

We are currently seeking an outgoing individual who has a passion for providing excellent customer service.


How it works/our vison
Our current customer service team are office based working Monday to Friday 9-5.

We would like you to work flexible hours from home that work around your schedule, to assist our full-time office-based staff.

We need you to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, during September to March, the format is flexible (within reason) and can be discussed at interview.


What you'll do
Your day will be varied and will include a combination of the following tasks:

  • Process telephone orders on Navision & take card payments.
  • Assist at all stages of an order to solve customer problems including providing delivery updates.
  • Arrange credits/returns where necessary.
  • Record issues on our CRM system.
  • Ensure that the customer's experience is a positive one.

Work in a great team
You will be working with a team of people who all have one main goal, exceptional customer service. The full team help and support one another other to ensure that the customer receives the best from us.


Requirements:


  • You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service admin role.
  • You have a highspeed internet connection and a quiet comfortable place to work.
  • You are able to travel to Ayrshire for inhouse training for a minimum of two weeks per year, likely to be in late August.
  • You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • You have strong computer navigation skills and PC Knowledge.
  • You are skilled in multitasking; including the ability to be flexible and adapt to changes quickly.
  • You have the ability to use your own initiative to proactively resolve issues.
  • You're resilient and you cope well with difficult situations.
  • A knowledge of transport/types of vehicles would be advantageous but training will be provided.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

£10.90 per hour
