Salary: £21,255
We are currently looking for an unpacking technician to join the team in Ellesmere Port, as a unpacking technician you will be responsible for unpacking samples ensuring they are labelled and receipted correctly in accordance with the quality management system
Your new role:
- Ensure all samples are correctly receipted in and registered on LIMS accurately and efficiently recording details in appropriate sample registers
- To provide stewarding support to the laboratory, to ensure customer service levels are met e.g. sample storage, retrieval and disposal.
- Support with the storage, retrieval and disposal of samples in a proper, traceable and safe manner
- Take receipt of samples and stock items/consumables delivered to site in order to ensure an efficient and effective laboratory operation.
- Communication between unpacking, registration and laboratory teams to ensure an effective and efficient service
Qualifications:
- Experience in working within a highvolume submission / fast paced environment and working to a tight deadline.
- GCSE in Science, Mathematics and English grades A to C or equivalent.
- Experience of working within a warehouse environment
- A Levels or equivalent.
- Valid driving license for the UK
