THE PRODUCT


The product is a self-service web platform allowing event organisers to manage and monitor the sale of tickets, season passes and more.

The product includes a customer-facing ticket purchasing platform.


THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The QA Tester is a core role of our development team. The QA Tester will be chiefly responsible for maintaining and assuring the quality of our web platform product.

As a QA Tester at Citizen Ticket, you will;

  • Complete functional, integration and regression testing
  • Estimate/Score tasks from User Stories and/or Designs
  • Follow, maintain and create new test scenarios/plans
  • Identify and report bugs to ISTQB standards
  • Coordinate with developers/product owner/designer to faster resolve found issues
  • Evolve our QA processes by identifying weaknesses or opportunities

EXPERIENCE
We are looking for an experienced QA Tester to fill the role.


THE CANDIDATE

  • Passion for finding bugs
  • A keen eye for detail and an eagerness to drive high standards
  • Experience in testing a complex webbased systems
  • Proven ability to keep to a release schedule & deadlines
  • ISTQB certification or a strong understanding
  • Experience working in a development team
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • A strong desire to build something and to work in an innovative, dynamic and fast paced company
  • Must be a selfstarter, able to motivate and manage themselves effectively.
  • Polite, well mannered, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge or experience in automation testing/scripting would be desired

TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work within Gitlab to manage issues, tasks and merge requests
  • Proactively communicate with the team
  • Plan, discuss, achieve, and retro sprints
  • Join Level 2 Support rotation, for learning how the platform is used by our clients daytoday, diagnosing reported problems and responding to our customer support team
  • Contribute to development team culture by sharing knowledge, hosting occasional presentations and workshops

Salary:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
