An opportunity to get involved in the shipping and logistics industry with the TR Logistics Group, Northern
Ireland's leading independent supply chain specialists.

To arrange and offer freight movements and supply chain solutions to a wide customer base. Complying with all necessary controls, HMRC formalities and procedures. We are looking for an all -rounder who can offer a variety of services to our customers.

Main Duties:

General

Make bookings on the Azyra freight system
Learn about Customs procedures and use of HMRC systems
Provide quotations to meet customer needs and carry through to actual bookings.
To arrange shipments, making contact with suppliers to ensure that the best service levels are provided for our customer base.
To plan import LCL movements, dealing with suppliers to ensure the customers required service is achieved.
To offer and arrange handling and Warehouse storage solutions to customer base, communicating directly with the Warehouse division.
To keep control of jobs, through effective liaison with hauliers, customers, shipping lines and other TR Group companies and divisions.
Assist with Export documentation. Booking on line with carriers, completion of export shipping instructions and on line customs requirements
To provide customers with relevant up to date information on shipments.
To collate and record all the necessary information on internal Azyra system to ensure all jobs are correctly and accurately processed.
To generate sales invoices, ensuring all jobs are accurately invoiced in agreement with the quotation or relevant rate tariff.
Providing quotations for LCL and FCL from Far East, US and Europe and other export related countries.
Processing cost related invoices and allocating same to jobs on Azyra system.

Qualifications:

Experience: 2 years minimum in Logistics related business Knowledge of HMRC formalities & Procedures

Experience and understanding of

Knowledge Good understanding of the Logistics industry customs clearance process

Previous experience of arranging transport of freight
Working knowledge of NI & GB customs procedures

Skills and abilities:
Must be self-motivated with an interest to progress ones knowledge

Excellent IT skills with word, excel and outlook and ability to adapt to new Freight Systems
Ability to work under pressure of tight timescales and deadlines.
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team player

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
