CNC Machine Operator - Prescot, United Kingdom - Bryken Limited
Description
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operations
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations
- Proficiency in CAD software for reading and interpreting blueprints
- Ability to assemble components according to specifications
- Familiarity with logic controllers and programming
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of SolidWorks software is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools for setup and adjustments
- Experience with materials handling and proper lifting techniques
- Welding experience is a plus

Salary:
£11.82-£13.63 per hour
