Hybrid Working between Solihull, West Midlands & Home (2-3 days per week in Solihull office)

6 Months FTC - Full Time Position

Salary:
£27,727- £32,620 Depending on Skills & Experience**

The Joint Office of Gas Transporters are the Code Administrator for the Uniform Network Code (UNC), which sets out the common transportation arrangements for Great Britain's gas industry.

Our role is to administer the governance of the processes for modifying the UNC and for a number of sub-committees that oversee its operations.


The Opportunity


As our Industry Governance Coordinator you'll actively support the administration of industry meetings and a wide variety of other business initiatives.

You'll provide technical assistance/note taker/technical minute taker in key industry meetings and will be actively speaking to external stakeholders such as Ofgem, shippers, transporters and other energy industry parties (e.g. Xoserve, SPAA).


What we'll ask of you:


  • Act as Technical Secretary to a range of UNC meetings, producing high quality minutes in a timely manner
  • Administering the publication of external documentation produced by the Joint Office of Gas Transporters and also coordinate information provision of industry information on the Joint Office website
  • Coordinating attendance at key forums (committees, workgroups, senior stakeholder events and meetings)
  • Supporting the administration of governance processes for modifying the commercial gas regime
  • Supporting the development and delivery of code changes related to governance and attend Code Governance Workgroup meetings
  • Reviewing all projects in Joint Office and escalating if not on track and challenge where necessary to ensure projects are kept on track
  • Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post

Requirements:


You'll possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Good IT skills including the user of the Microsoft Office suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge around regulators and transporters would be preferred
  • Verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good numerical skills
