The Role:This post will provide effective leadership of the Services engagement with local stakeholders and communities, coordinating internal resources and managing relationships with external partners to deliver an excellent service to our Clients.


Key responsibilities:


  • Increase awareness and engagement of MoreLife across Greater Manchester.
  • Support the achievement of referral KPIs.
  • Working to the Performance Management and Improvement framework.
  • Generate agreed content for service reports as required by the Commissioners and Contract Manager.
  • Act as contact lead to the engagement work of the service in a localityfocused way, engaging and linking with the Voluntary, Community & Faith (VCF) sector and Health & Social Care colleagues to drive quality referrals into Service.
  • Lead on communications to clients, stakeholders, delivery partners and the wider system to support effective engagement and local link working, and to position MoreLife as a key component of the system.
  • Support channels for client feedback, communication and cocreation throughout the life of the contract.
  • Support the wider MoreLife team to be committed to active engagement with the community and to understand the issues that impact on those living and working in the communities covered by the service.
  • Ensure regular engagement with key partners, stakeholders, and commissioners who will be regularly involved and contribute to the ongoing success of the service.
  • Develop partnerships and regular communication with potential referrers, stakeholder and commissioners through local networks and events.
  • Identify potential business development opportunities.

Person specification:


Essential:


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years relevant experience in public health or community healthcare.
  • Experience of public health or healthcare services delivered to National (DH, DfE, PHE, NHS England) Local (Local Authorities, CCGs) Charities and other third sector agencies.
  • Experience of working in partnership with a range of organisations particularly those in public health and the healthcare sector
  • Experience in planning, implementation, monitoring and review, maintenance of records for programme delivery and continued programme development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with emphasis on content writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent IT and information management skills with the ability to rapidly acquire new skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work flexibly as part of a team to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to present a professional image with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable:


  • Possession of a relevant post graduate qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of one, and a knowledge of the remainder: provision of public services, health promotion, behaviour modification programmes, quality control, stakeholder engagement activities, research and evaluation, and project management.
  • Previous experience of leading on communications in public health / behavior change programmes
  • A knowledge of the local area, includingrelevant partners, stakeholders and potential referrers in primary andsecondary care and the wider public and VCF sectors
