Mitie Telecoms are now leading providers of acquisition, design and construction (ADC) services, specialist managed services of temporary mobile infrastructure, and facilities maintenance for telecoms.

With this continued growth we are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to join the team.


What is the main role of the SeniorProject Coordinator?


This role is responsible for the day-to-day project coordination work, ensuring that projects are executed, reported on, and completed efficiently in accordance with delivery timescales and processes.

You will drive the project forward, document processes, update systems, solve problems, troubleshoot issues and escalate issues to the Project Delivery Manager/ Project Manager.


What are the key duties and responsibilities?

  • To coordinate all operational elements of field projects whilst ensuring all daily requirements are met including monitoring progress in the field.
  • To prioritise, coordinate and schedule daily work and system updates.
  • To produce and ensure instructions issued to field representatives are appropriate and effective.
  • To comply with the relevant Health and Safety Policy provisions.
  • To create and maintain records including data sheets, project documentation and reports ensuring all data captured is accurate and meets the specific requirements.
  • To ensure all internal KPIs are met.
  • To liaise with clients and colleagues as part of the project coordination process
  • To provide input and feedback to the electrical team with respect to ideas for process improvement and business opportunities
  • To perform other duties as assigned by the management team

What are we looking for?
Essential

  • GCSE Maths & English (A-C/94) or equivalent as minimum.
  • IT literate including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Detail orientated with strong record keeping skills and works with high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Willing and able to work with mínimal supervision.
Desirable

  • Experience with CRM platforms, mobile operator portals and SharePoint.
  • A positive cando attitude.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively.
  • Motivated by challenge.
  • Culturally astute.
  • Willing to learn and pursue relevant qualifications.
  • Ability to work additional hours and travel as required.
  • Full driving license
