We are looking for an experienced media relations professional with a track record of working across multiple UK and European markets to deliver and execute impactful communications activity.

The role will engage with journalists to help tell the Macquariestory.

The role - based in London - will sit within the Group's Corporate Affairs division - and play a critical role in helping build Macquarie's reputation and brand in key European markets.

You will work closely with colleagues from a variety of communicationsdisciplines on diverse and interesting initiatives.

Your specific responsibilities will be to work with our businesses and leaders in key European markets on engaging key media organisations on issues spanning key areas of economic and political interest: infrastructure, energy, commodities, technology, corporategrowth, and financial markets.

If you enjoy a varied and fast paced work environment - this could be the role for you.

An ability to speak a major European language, in addition to English, would be helpful but is not a requirement of this role - as you will be supported by media agencies based in key markets and you will collaborate closely with other staff across Europe.

To thrive in this role, you will be an experienced communications professional (8+ years' experience) with a proven track record of delivering in a commercial, media or political environment.

Experience of working in or with financial services, or internationalbusinesses would be welcome, but not essential.
You will be comfortable working with senior leadership as a trusted advisor and an exceptional stakeholder manager. This role will also require you to mentor junior colleagues to ensure a high performing and collaborative team.
