Room leader - Wimbledon Full time Salary up to £27k Our client a lovely Nursery setting in the South West London area is looking for a Room Leader for the Baby Room

Main Responsibilities:

Be responsible for leading nursery team where needed for efficient staff deployment and sustain a culture of collaborative and cooperative working between colleagues.
Contribute to the work of a multiprofessional team.
Ensure high quality of early years provision, including physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for children in the setting.
Understand the principles and content of the Early years Foundation Stage Statutory framework and Outcomes (September 2014) and know how to put them in to practice.
Acknowledge the various influences and transitions experienced from both inside and outside the setting.
Practice and promote current legal requirements, national policies and guidance on health and safety, safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children.
To ensure that records are available at all times and regular reports are given to the nursery manager/deputy; to maintain records as required e.g., attendance records, accident and incident book and children's records.
Actively support the development of children's language and communication skills.
Ability to accurately assess and record child development. Skills and Attributes NVQ 3 minimum Experience working with children aged 05 years. Have experience in a 'good' or 'outstanding' setting.
