Description

We Are BX2 are recruiting for a Customer Service Supervisor to work for our rapidly expanding client in Salford (M6)
To ensure that orders are processed and delivered efficiently and effectively whilst always delivering excellent customer service.


Main Duties

  • Account Management
  • Direct point of contact for current customers, keeping the customer updated on lead times, delivery dates and any issues with outstanding orders. Along with dealing any credit requests from customers regarding price and / or damage.
  • Processing of orders, credits, sundry and supplementary invoicing.
  • Managing transport ops, ensuring the most cost effective and strategically affective methods for delivering goods to our customers.


Working closely with internal & external cold store teams/companies to ensure a quick turnaround of produced stock movements from site to external cold stores or direct to customers where necessary, whilst also managing storage capacity and future requirements.


  • Effective Management of stock items.
  • Maintaining of price lists/product price
  • Investigating and resolving shortages and various customer claims (i.e. damages)
  • Creating new products within the MRP system and removing delisted lines.
  • Producing ad hoc reports as and when required
  • Involved with monthly budget meetings regarding Forecasts and Orders
Maintaining EDI/MRP systems, any previous experience with Tropos desirable but not essential.


Salary -
Up to £35,000 doe


Hours/days of work-
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Up to £35,000.00 per year
