A leading Financial Trading company based in Central London are looking to recruit a 'Senior Regulatory Legal Officer'.The role is paying circa £110K (£100K basic plus bonus). This is a permanent contract.
You MUST have legal experience within FX Trading
Key Responsibilities -
- Manage major legal projects across the Group, track milestones and ensure successful delivery
- Provide advice on complex regulatory legal questions to various internal stakeholders
- Proactively identify, mitigate and manage legal risks (both current and forecasted)
- Partner with the Executive and the Compliance functions in managing relationships with regulatory authorities and external bodies
- Help develop and build the wider team's understanding of relevant laws and regulations
- Stay up to date with any legislative and regulatory changes, keep up to date with the latest legal developments and maintain your legal knowledge
Experience and Skills Required -
- Vast experience with regulatory laws (in particular MIFID II)
- Ability to provide highquality advice at short notice
- Being a qualified lawyer (solicitor, barrister, attorney or equivalent) with 3+ years of PQE as an inhouse legal officer in any of the following: regulated investment firm, fintech, other regulated entity
- Excellent ability to use your legal knowledge to advise the business in meeting its objectives and navigate the regulatory landscape
Salary:
From £100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
