LV (Low Voltage) Project Manager - SPEN -

Role and Requirements:


Glenelly Infrastructure solutions has an exciting opportunity for a talented
LV (Low Voltage) Project Manager - SPEN Framework to join our Power & Civils Distribution business based in
Scotland.

Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions has been awarded the framework for the with maintenance and modernisation of existing underground LV network and new services for SPEN.

While this particular framework will run approximately 5 years, we expect to be awardedmore of these frameworks in the near

The Project Manager will ensure the overall success in the delivery of the framework.

Running point between commercial, programme and scheduling, electrical & civils works, and health & safety, while being client facing will all be in a day's work.

You willhave previous experience in utilities and/or infrastructure framework delivery, with preference given to those with low voltage electrical and cabling experience.

A history of working with SPEN or other DNOs will be considered valuable, as will familiaritywith SAP software.


Additional duties:

  • Manage staff and subcontractors working on your projects on site.
  • Ensure accurate project documentation.
  • Attend site & client meetings and program planning as required.
  • Manage the completion of site installation work ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget.
  • Produce risk assessments and method statements and ensure all personnel on site comply with them.
  • Liaise with client and ensure work is carried out to their specifications.
  • Organise the logistics of all equipment and material deliveries, coordinate and plan work and monitor overall progress.
Hours of work are 50 hours Monday to Friday. You may be required to support H&S manager with weekend/ evening visits dependent on business needs.
