Management Accountant


We are representing a growing manufacturing firm in
Newcastle under Lyme with the recruitment of a
Management Accountantwho is currently operating at an Assistant Management Accountant level looking to take the next step.

This role and organisation require an individual who is passionate and motivated to develop a career within financeand build their personal profile around this International Group of Companies.

Your professional development will be important to you and supported by the business.


Based in the UK Head Office, working on a hybrid (2 days onsite) or fully onsite basis, you will be tasked with supporting with the preparation of the management accounts, production of reports and partnering with non-finance personnel around the business.

Supported by the Group Finance Manager and the wider finance team your main responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:

  • Month End
  • Fixed Assets, Accruals, Bank Revaluation, exchange rate entry and journal entry.
  • Balance Sheets Reconciliations.
  • Departmental month end reporting
  • Stock Control
  • VAT analysis
  • National Statistics Reports
  • Development of reports and improvement of procedures
  • Standard Costing update
  • External Audit

Experience Required

  • Experience within manufacturing although not essential
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Stock accounting/reporting
  • Knowledge of Epicor advantageous but not essential

Qualifications Required

  • AAT/CIMA/ACCA part or fully qualified a willingness to continue to develop your skills
