Business Intelligence Technical Lead - Hybrid working Birkenhead - Up to £75,000

Are you an experienced Business Intelligence Technical Lead looking for a new challenge in an expanding organisation?

We're looking for an experienced BI Tech Lead for our globally recognised Client, a leading specialist in engineering and technology insurance and engineering inspection services provider.

With underwriting that covers a broad range of technologies and industry sectors who are ever growing

You will senior figure in the team where you will be leading the analytical output for the business while also having the chance to support and mentor other team members.

Our client is looking for someone to drive the data modelling and data science tooling such as Python into the organisation (while also looking into the potential adoption of AI).

Core Responsibilities:

To provide knowledge and experience to the company to best solve problems and action upon opportunities in an insurance and construction environment.
To provide detailed data based analysis and modelling of Business processes and scenario.
To manage and develop the team of technical analysts, ensuring informed decisions are made and new methodologies are implemented to help achieve the Group's strategic objectives.
Help shape and determine highly detailed analytic insights, including understanding of available technologies and software to assist delivery.
Build excellent working knowledge of Business processes, systems & data structures

Your Experience:

Advanced knowledge and use of modelling tools such as Python and R etc.
Investigate use of and potential benefits of AI
Strong knowledge of SQL, database structures and principles
A fundamental understanding of web & surrounding technologies
Ability to assess and evaluate the latest trends in the insurance and IT industries for recommending solutions for business system opportunities

Based in Birkenhead, you will be working on a hybrid basis which after integration will become even more flexible.
