Kelly Group is currently looking to recruit the very best talent and have a unique opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our growing team.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • The processing and payment of invoices to suppliers, including the postings to our IFS Ledgers by matching the Invoices to the correct, authorised Purchase Orders
  • Creating payment runs and ensuring timely clearance from the bank account
  • To ensure that the Suppliers are paid within their agreed credit terms.
  • Respond to queries from key stakeholders such as the management, and internal/external audit
  • Investigate and resolve payment queries and provide resolution to issues
  • Perform weekly and monthly supplier reconciliations and produce monthly and adhoc payment reporting
  • Build and maintaining business relationships with our suppliers to ensure a premium service
  • Ensuring compliance with the internal control environment and that deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Ensuring up to date process documentation is in place for all key processes under your remit so that that there is a full audit trail and robust control infrastructure

You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:

  • Processing a high volume of invoices including resubmissions and resolution of discrepancies
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Setting up new suppliers on internal systems, answering supplier queries and managing disputes
  • Managing accounts payable mailboxes
  • Reconciling accounts
